Heinrich Preisinger founded the company Schrauben-Preisinger (then still called "Schrauben-Börse") on July 6, 1921. At the beginning, the Schrauben-Börse consisted of just a small shop at Rumfordstrasse 16. Later, in 1926, a small screw manufacturing facility was added, which was located just a few houses away at Rumfordstrasse 11.
In 1935, a branch was added in Nuremberg, but it was completely bombed out during the war.
Due to the founder's growing success, the store had to move to new and larger premises at Utzschneiderstrasse 5 on October 1, 1936. You can still find us there today. Much of the store's furnishings date back to the days of the company's founder, especially the shelves.
Ultimately, the production had to be relocated during the war. After the war, however, it returned to Munich on Falkenstrasse. When the founder died in 1940 and the company was divided between his three children, sales and production were separated. The son took over the shop on Utzschneiderstrasse, the two daughters took over the production on Falkenstrasse. In 1956, the factory was closed down. The machines were sold. The eldest daughter, Erika Lange, née Preisinger, took over the shop on Utzschneiderstrasse with her husband.
The warehouse in Munich covers an area of approximately 400 square meters.
Approximately 30,000 items are in stock and ready for delivery at any time. Additional items are available on request.
In Zwickau there are another 200 square meters with 4,000 items.

Custom-made products and special surfaces have been part of our permanent portfolio for over 30 years.
The family story continues in 2014 when Horst Lange's son, Patrik Lange, takes over the business as additional managing director.
The wish from 1991 for further good development of the company has come true, the company Schrauben-Preisinger GmbH celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021.
Then as now: the company Schrauben-Preisinger GmbH stands for advice - selection - quality. The range is now visible worldwide with pictures and descriptions, and communication is quick and easy.
